Install the app on Android or iPhone
Put SmogScanner on the phone you use in the bay. Android downloads free from our site. For iPhone, call or text us and we’ll set it up with you.
Open smogapp.com/download on the phone. On a computer, that page shows a code. Point the phone’s camera at it to open the page there.
Android
- Tap Download for Android.
- When it finishes, tap the file to open it.
- If the phone asks, allow this browser to install apps. Then tap Install.
It works on Android 8.0 and newer.
iPhone and iPad
The iPhone app is in early access and not in the App Store yet. The easy way is to call or text (949) 989-6515. We’ll set it up with you.
- To do it yourself, tap Set it up myself.
- If the phone asks, get TestFlight from the App Store. It’s Apple’s free app for early-access apps.
- Go back to the invite. Tap Accept, then Install.
Sign in on the phone with the same account you use on the computer. Both show the same cars and orders.
