Invite your technicians and set their roles
Give each person their own sign-in. Every work order then shows who did the test, and commissions add up by technician.
Send an invite
- Click Settings in the menu, then Team.
- Under Invite a teammate, pick the Role. It starts on Technician.
- You can type the person’s Email. Leave it empty and anyone holding the code can use it.
- Click Create invite.
- Under Invites, click Copy invite code and give the code to the person yourself. We do not send an email.
The person signs up, picks Join with an invite, types the code and clicks Join station. A code works once and expires after seven days.
The four roles
- Owner: everything, including the plan and billing. Only an owner can make someone else an owner.
- Manager: runs the station. The team, the station settings, imports, reports and offers.
- Technician: writes up work orders, estimates and invoices, and answers messages in Inbox.
- Viewer: can look but not change anything. Good for a TV in the office.
Change a role or remove someone
Under Members, change the Role next to the person’s name. To take away access, click Remove member. Their past work stays on the record. You cannot change or remove yourself; another owner or manager has to do it.
